NOPCAS was formed to stop the tragic epidemic of suicide in minority communities. The organization is developing innovative strategies to address this urgent national problem.

Our Mission
We convey a message of hope in everything we do, and carry out our mission in the following ways:
- Improve knowledge for counselors and educators
- Provide insight on depression and other brain disorders
- Share coping methods with survivors
- Educate bereaved family members and friends
- Improve training for those who work with young adults
- Share information on suicide prevention and intervention
